Music Programming Coordinator:
The Music Programming Coordinator works with the Program Director to ensure
that the needs of CHSR's music programmers are voiced to the Executive Committee.
He/She is in charge of bringing any questions, concerns or suggestions that
the music programmers might have to the Executive for consideration. The Music
Programming Coordinator also works on projects such as the coordination of interviews
with bands, various events etc. The Music Programming Coordinator also sits
on the Programming Committee.
All of the positions on the Executive Committee have a few requirements in common. You must be available to attend regular weekly meetings of the Executive Committee, prepare weekly reports on what's going on in your department, and vote on the various station issues that come up at meetings. As well, you're required to attend General Membership Meetings. In essence, you'll be working in conjunction with the Staff and the Board of Directors in the running of our station. In order to run for a position on the Executive, you must have been a member of CHSR for at least 3 months, and have paid you membership fee for the current year.
