Cultural Programming Coordinator:
The Cultural Coordinator is the liaison between CHSR's cultural programmers
and the executive Committee. He/She is responsible for reporting any concerns,
questions or suggestions that the cultural programmers might have, as well as
ensuring that their needs and wishes are considered by the Executive committee.
The Cultural Coordinator also organizes various cultural focus-day programs
and events. She/He also sits on the Programming Committee.
All of the positions on the Executive Committee have a few requirements in common. You must be available to attend regular weekly meetings of the Executive Committee, prepare weekly reports on what's going on in your department, and vote on the various station issues that come up at meetings. As well, you're required to attend General Membership Meetings. In essence, you'll be working in conjunction with the Staff and the Board of Directors in the running of our station. In order to run for a position on the Executive, you must have been a member of CHSR for at least 3 months, and have paid you membership fee for the current year.
