Chair:
The Chair is basically the liaison between the Membership and the Executive Committee, and between the Executive and the Board of Directors. The Chair is responsible for bringing any questions, concerns or suggestions that the Membership may have to the Executive Committee for consideration. The Chair is also responsible for arranging and directing regular meetings of the Executive Committee (usually weekly), and General Membership Meetings. As well as attending the weekly Executive meetings, the Chair has a seat on the Board of Directors, and attends their meetings.

All of the positions on the Executive Committee have a few requirements in common. You must be available to attend regular weekly meetings of the Executive Committee, prepare weekly reports on what's going on in your department, and vote on the various station issues that come up at meetings. As well, you're required to attend General Membership Meetings. In essence, you'll be working in conjunction with the Staff and the Board of Directors in the running of our station. In order to run for a position on the Executive, you must have been a member of CHSR for at least 3 months, and have paid you membership fee for the current year.
